It is hard to believe that 2025 is coming to an end and we are getting ready to welcome 2026. Looking back at this year, we feel an enormous sense of gratitude for the people who have supported this brand in all its stages. Some of you have been with us since the very beginning, and some of you are just beginning your journey with us. Wherever you find yourself, we are grateful that you are part of the Herbal Skin Solutions story.
This year brought new formulations, new products, new community members, and new opportunities to grow. Before we dive into everything that unfolded in 2025, it feels right to pause and acknowledge how it all began.
Herbal Skin Solutions started almost ten years ago, and in February we’ll mark a full decade of creating, learning, and growing. What began as a simple dream became a mission rooted in supporting licensed estheticians, treatment room professionals, and the planet. In the early days, our Founder and CEO, Kaelin, and her husband Eddie were the entire team, balancing every role while working full-time jobs. Their dedication kept the brand alive, but it was the support from this community that turned the idea into a living, breathing thing that continues to evolve. Looking at 2025 through that lens feels surreal. Ten years ago there was no roadmap. Today there is momentum, direction, and a community that believes in what we are building.

Looking Back at 2025
Each year brings new growth, new perspectives, and new lessons. In 2025 we had the opportunity to look closely at what was working for the brand, what could use improvement, and how the feedback from our community could guide stronger decisions. Because of this, we made meaningful changes that moved the brand forward and supported the people who rely on our products, from licensed providers to everyone who uses our formulas at home. Your support and your honesty made these steps possible. Now we want to share what we accomplished together, including formulations, packaging updates, environmental impact, and future plans that your feedback helped shape. So let us jump into everything we created, learned, and celebrated this year.
Botanical Innovations
Skincare is changing, and this year we leaned into that evolution. Instead of falling into the “nature versus science” debate, we let the two work together, because that is where the magic happens. Every Herbal Skin Solutions formula embodies that belief.
We hold deep respect for botanicals and herbs. We also understand how powerful well-crafted lab ingredients can be. When you pair intention with innovation, everything works better.
That mindset naturally led us deeper into epigenetics this year. If nature provides the ingredients and science helps us understand how they behave, epigenetics is the bridge between the two. It reminds us that the skin is adaptable, responsive, and capable of change. What your skin is experiencing right now is not a life sentence. With the right tools, it can shift, strengthen, and find balance again.
This belief shaped our new formulas, starting with the Multi-Peptide and Fungi Eye Serum. We wanted a formula that honored traditional plant wisdom while still giving you modern performance. Poria Cocos mushroom has been used for centuries for its calming and restorative qualities. Paired with peptides, it became a silky, hydrating, regenerative eye serum that feels steady, supportive, and trustworthy in any routine.
We also launched two formulas powered by gardenia stem cells, one of the most exciting advancements for us. Gardenia stem cells support the skin’s natural renewal processes, and when they’re formulated with precision, they help the skin communicate and repair more effectively. The Petal Jelly Stem Cell Mask offers hydration and recovery through a cooling gel texture that works beautifully on stressed skin and doubles as a conductive gel for microcurrent devices. The Petal Stem Cell Serum is its concentrated partner, expanding on the work our EGF Cellular Activator Serum started, but with deeper, more intelligent support.
These formulas represent a continuation of the philosophy we’ve held from the beginning: working with the skin instead of against it. We’ve always believed that the most effective products support the skin’s natural processes, and this year’s launches expanded on that belief in new, exciting ways. When you bring together plant stem cells, peptides, and mushrooms with intention, you get formulas that feel modern, grounded, and aligned with the values at the center of our brand.

Chromatic Expression
Alongside new botanical innovations, we expanded into makeup this year. We introduced tinted lip glosses, foundation sticks, a clear brow gel, and brushes to blend it all together. This step felt meaningful because while our heart will always belong to skincare and healthy skin, we also recognize the beauty in self-expression. For many of us, makeup is part of feeling connected, confident, and creative. This chapter is only beginning, and we’re excited to hear your feedback as it unfolds.
The Packaging Evolution
If you’ve been with us since the early days, you’ve seen Herbal Skin Solutions evolve many times, and our packaging evolved right alongside us. If you’re new here, let us give you a small tour through the years.
We started with plastic. It wasn’t our forever plan, but it allowed the brand to exist. Growth often begins with what you can manage, not what you dream of. When we had the resources to do better, we searched for a packaging option that aligned with our mission. That search led us to recycled Italian glass, and it became a defining moment for the brand. It felt intentional and elevated, and our community embraced it beautifully.
As time passed, we continued asking ourselves how we could grow with integrity. How do we make our products more sustainable? How do we make shipping safer and easier? How do we support both providers and at-home customers with something responsible and practical? The answer brought us to aluminum.
Aluminum is infinitely recyclable, lightweight, and sturdy. It reduces the footprint of shipping and minimizes breakage. It allows us to honor our values in a more current and sustainable way. We will continue to use glass where it makes sense, especially for airless systems, but expanding into aluminum opens a new chapter we are proud of.
We also introduced new outer boxes this year, a project shaped by months of collaboration, creativity, and revisions. We worked closely with designers to create packaging that tells a story. Each box includes artwork and small written details meant to make the unboxing feel special. Keep them, display them, reuse them. They carry the heart of the brand just as much as the formulas inside.
This transition is another evolution. A thoughtful step forward that we hope adds beauty, purpose, and intention to your shelves and treatment rooms.
Our Collective Impact
Since the beginning of the Herbal Skin Solutions story, we knew that giving back to the planet would be at the heartbeat of our brand. Every choice we made came from that intention. We benefit from the earth every single day. The ingredients we use, the air we breathe, the climate we live in, all of it is a reminder of how lucky we are to exist on a planet that gives so much. Taking care of the world that gives us these gifts is essential. When we choose the planet wherever and however we can, the impact adds up in ways that matter. And for us, that mindset has guided the path forward from the start.
We also know that the world is going through a lot right now. It would feel wrong and dishonest to ignore that. Even so, we are proud to contribute something positive, and we see this work as an ongoing commitment. This is only the beginning of what we hope to create for the planet and for the people who share it with us.
Over the years we have connected with organizations around the world whose missions align with ours. These relationships let us contribute to steady, meaningful change, and 2025 was no exception. Everything we accomplished this year was possible because of the people in this community who continue to support this mission, so we are excited to share what we’ve achieved together.
